Team Royal Blue claims first place in National Division

Shutouts: Team Royal Blue and Team Gold produced camp’s first complete game shutouts. Royal Blue blanked Team Orange to claim sole possession of first place in the National Division. Orange held its opponents to just 13 shots on goal. Goaltenders Todd Scott and Doug Connor were up to each challenge they faced. Gold defeated Columbia Blue 4-0 with perfect goaltending from Riley Morgan and Connor Hopkins. Sammy Steele led the way with two goals and two assists for Team Gold.

Set-Up Man: Jonathan Gruden (Team Gray) had four assists in Gray’s 6-3 win over Team Navy Blue. Three of Gruden’s helpers came in the first eight minutes of the game.

Pacing The Offense: Joey Musa was in on all four of Team White’s goals in the team’s 4-2 win over Kelly Green. Musa notched three assists and scored the game winning goal in the first half.

Did You Know: John Drury’s (Team Gray) uncle Chris Drury played almost 900 games in the NHL and helped the United States win the silver medal at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. Chris scored 615 points with the Colorado Avalanche, Calgary Flames, Buffalo Sabres and New York Rangers.
