Youth Select 15: Day Five Recap

  • Camp's Top Squads: Kelly finished competition play at camp with a  4-0-0-1 record to finish at the top of the American division.  On the other side, meanwhile, Navy clinched the National division crown with an identical mark of 4-0-0-1.
  • Camp's Top Scorers: Purple's No. 14 Henry Crone finished atop all skaters in both points (14) and assists (12).  In the goal-scoring department, Kelly's Joey Anderson (No. 16) led this week's camp with seven, while White's Bryant Gunn (No. 3), Purple's Kiefer Bellows (No. 12), Royal's Cameron Donaldson (No. 8) and Orange's Mitchell Lewandowski (No. 12) tallied six apiece.  Navy's Chad Krys (No. 5) paced all camp defensemen with 10 points (1G, 9A).
  • Camp's Top Goaltenders: Jacob Burhans (No. 30) of Kelly was the camp's top goaltender in both goals-against average (1.44) and save percentage (.958), allowing just 3 goals on 72 shots overall.  Gold's No. 30 Ryan Keane also amassed an impressive goals-against average (1.92) and save percentage (.931), while Red's No. 1 Stephen Dhillon (.914), Navy's No. 1 Bryce Mann (.912), Kelly's No. 1 Joseph Woll (.905) and Grey's No. 30 Ryan Edquist (.903) all boasted save percentages of over .900 upon the conclusion of the week.
