  • Roster Update: Carson Briske, who was scheduled to suit up for Kelly, will not be attending camp due to injury and has been replaced by David Kompson (No. 3).
  • Famous Relative: Black's Ty Amonte (No. 18) is the son of former USA Hockey great and NHL alumnus, Tony Amonte.  The elder Amonte skated in over 1,100-career NHL contests, amassing an impressive 900 points to place him 12th all-time amongst American-born players.  Over that time, the Hingham, Mass. native played in five NHL All-Star Games and was named to the NHL All-Rookie Team in 1992.  Amonte made two Olympic appearances for Team USA (1998, 2002) and is currently the head coach of the varsity team at Thayer Academy.  He also served as a coach in last week's Select 16 Development Camp.
  • Big Second Halves: Trailing 1-0 at halftime of its opening game against Black, Gold netted five unanswered goals over the final 25 minutes to skate away with a 5-1 victory.  Riley Tufte (No. 18) paved the way offensively with a penalty-shot goal and an assist, while Thomas Dale (No. 14), Patrick Cozzi (No. 10), Carter Hillsgrove (No. 9) and Michael Young (No. 4) added a goal apiece in the winning effort. Likewise, White entered the second half of its bout with Red down, 2-1, before burying four unanswered goals to win, 5-2.  No. 3 Bryant Gunn (1G, 1A) and No. 11 Montana Streit (0G, 2A) contributed a pair of points apiece for White, with Ross Bartlett (No. 9), Griffin Loughran (No. 12), James Sotiroff (No. 15) and Brandon Bergado (No. 18) each chipping-in a goal.
  • Battling Back: In the camp's first game to extend to a shootout, Orange rallied from an early 2-0 deficit to oust Forest by a score of 4-3.  After Justin Cmunt (No. 9), Nicholas Blachman (No. 15) and Mark Senden (No. 16) each lit the lamp in regulation, Logan Brown (No. 14) and Hugh McGing (No. 11) were also able to find the back of the net in the skills competition.  Goaltender Michael Carr (No. 30) denied four of the five Forest shooters faced to preserve the victory.  Despite the loss, Dante Palecco (No. 15) tallied a goal and two assists for Forest.
