Player Development Camps

The games at the 2013 USA Hockey Girls’ Select U18 Player Development Camp at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in St. Cloud started on July 12 with Team Royal and Team White skating to a 0-0 tie. Goalies Sonjia Shelly and Brooke Wolejko of Team White combined for the shutout, making 17 saves, while Team Royal’s Brittany Bugalski and Kassi Abbott combined for 16 saves … Team Gold won the second game of the day by a 4-2 margin against Team Blue.  Olivia Stokes of Team Blue scored one goal and one assist, while Paige Voight added a goal and assist for Team Gold … In a 2-0 victory, Team Green’s goalie duo of Katharyn Snyder and Samantha Smith shut out Team Black with a total of 21 saves.  Caitrin Lonergan and Allison Gasuik each had goals for Team Green …Team Purple tallied a 3-0 win over Team Pink as goalies Kaitlyn Burt and Kelsey Baldwin made 19 saves combined in the shutout. Hannah Portykus scored the game-winning goal for Team Purple … To wrap up the day, Team Red beat Team Grey, 4-1, with Alexis Mauermann scoring both the first and last goals of the game. She also added an assist on Grace Bizal’s game-winning goal in the first period … Play at the Girls’ Select U18 Camp will continue at the HBNHC on July 13.
