  • Roster Update: Royal's No. 6 Brandon Schieman (Injured), Columbia's No. 9 Gregory Aliotta (Injured) and Black's No. 3 Noah Hanifin (Unspecified) did not take part in Tuesday's action.
  • Flying High: Kelly opened its schedule with consecutive wins, both of which have come by 7-3 scores.  The club has ridden a high-powered offensive attack to victory thus far, as evidenced by its camp-leading 14 goals-for. Kelly has also combined for a total of 80 shots-on-goal over the first four halves of competition, highlighted by an impressive 51 shots in Tuesday's effort.  Thomas Novak (No. 16) leads the way for Kelly (and sits atop all camp skaters) with five points heading into Wednesday, followed closely by teammates Sam McCormick (No. 12) and Brock Boeser (No. 8) whom have tallied four apiece.
  • Quick Strikers: In its 6-0 blanking of Forest on Tuesday, Orange lit the lamp three times over a span of 95 seconds to begin the second half of play and five times overall in the final 25 minutes.  William D'Orsi (No. 11) finished with a hat trick, while goaltenders Vaughan Ahrens (No. 1) and Zach Driscoll (No. 30) combined to turn away all 19 shots faced to earn the shutout.
  • More Than What You See: All of the USA Hockey Player Development Camps, which take place over the three-week period, expand beyond simply competition play.  Other features to help the players learn and build their hockey knowledge range from practice sessions (team and goaltender-specific) to presentations and video sessions.  The topics of the presentations this week encompass a range of themes, including Team Success at Short Events, USA Hockey Pride/High-Performance Track, American Development Model (ADM)/Age-Appropriate Training and the USHL/College Hockey, Inc.
