Amonte skated in over 1,100-career NHL contests, amassing an impressive 900 points to place him 12th all-time amongst American-born players. Over that time, the Hingham, Mass. native played in five NHL All-Star Games and was named to the NHL All-Rookie Team in 1992. Amonte also made two Olympic appearances for Team USA (1998, 2002). He is currently the head coach of the varsity team at Thayer Academy.
Chorske, meanwhile, enjoyed an 11-year NHL career, compiling 237 points over 596 games and won a Stanley Cup in 1995 while skating as a member of the New Jersey Devils. Chorske named Minnesota’s Mr. Hockey as the state’s top high school player in 1985 and had a decorated two-year career with the University of Minnesota.
