Player Development Camps

In the final day of regular camp games, Team Gold started the day with a 4-3 win over Team Gold. Alyssa Gorecki scored a pair of goals for Team Gold, while teammate Grace Bizal contributed a goal and an assist in the win. Jacqueline Rogers and Kassi Abbott combined for 19 saves in the nets for Team Gold.

Team Grey won its third game of the camp with a 6-2 decision over Team Purple in the second game of the day. Team Grey’s Lenka Serdar notched one goal and two assists in the game, while teammates Dana Rasmussen and Kaitlin Radke each had one gial and one assist in the game. Tatum Skagg scored a shorthanded goal for Team Purple.

In game three, Team Black’s goalie tandem of Maddie Rooney and Sonjia Shelly combined for a 21 save 4-0 shutout against Team Red. Team Black goals were scored in the contest by Abby Roque, Justine Keyes, Jacqueline Kaasa and Madie Leidt.

Team Pink stayed unbeaten in camp play with a 6-2 victory over Team Royal.  Team Pink’s Paige Lewis and Annie Berg each had one goal and one assist in the game.

The final game of the day ended with a 2-2 draw between Team Blue and Team White. Team Blue had first period tallies by Kaitlin Hoang and Melissa Samoskevich, while Team White gained a goal in the first period by Rebecca Gilmore. In the second period, Team White’s Mackenzie Lancaster tied the game at 2-2.

Camp competition will conclude on July 15 with a pair of All-Star games at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.

Team Grey’s Rasmussen (3G, 2A) and Serdar (1G, 4A) are the camp’s scoring leaders with five points apiece after Tuesday’s games.
