Championship Vengeance: Grey captured the Select 16 championship, ousting Kelly in a shootout by a score of 3-2. After falling to Kelly in a shootout earlier in the week, Grey was able to get its revenge in what was a tight-checking contest. For the winning squad, Jack Kopacka (No. 16) and Jamie Armstrong (No. 14) lit the lamp for in regulation, while goaltenders Karl Zodda (No. 30) and Peter Negron (No. 1) combined to make 32 saves.
Blue All-Stars Prevail: Mark Senden's (No. 8) goal with less than three minutes remaining lifted the Blue All-Stars to a 4-3 victory over the White All-Stars. Kieffer Bellows (No. 9) led the way offensively for Blue with a goal and two assists, while Mitch Eliot (No. 5) recorded a goal and an assist. Henry Crone (No. 16) also scored in Blue's winning effort, with Max Gerlach (No. 11), Luke McInnis (No. 4) and Ben Gleason (No. 6) contributing a goal apiece for White.
One More Week: The final two development camps are scheduled to take place at the Northtown Center next week. The Select 15's hit the ice from July 14-20, with Sled camp running from July 14-19.
